Lt Col (Dr) Brahamjit Singh is an alumnus of Armed Forces Medical College and is one of the eminent consultants of the Indian Army. He has extensive experience of more than 15 years as a medical consultant and with his distinguished academic qualifications coupled with extensive experience in medicine has helped in treating patients of various cancers, in different stages of disease.
He has been awarded the Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card for distinguished service, by the Indian Army. In view of his excellent professional profile, clinical experience and amiable personality, he was selected and sent on deputation as part of the Indian Medical Mission to Kabul, Afghanistan, as the Personal Physician to His Excellency, Mohammad Zahir Shah, King of Afghanistan. He was also responsible for providing medical treatment to the Royal family and Mr. Hamid Karzai, the then President of Afghanistan. He has also been awarded the Fellowship of Indian College of Physicians, in recognition and appreciation for his outstanding contribution towards the Association of Physicians of India.
He is a man with a mission to ensure a comprehensive and holistic treatment of cancer patients with special emphasis on preserving the quality of life of the cancer patients and in order to achieve this he underwent a certified course in Palliative Care. His compassion towards his patients is reflected in his quality care and the extra mile that he goes to comfort patients battling cancer.
Championing the cause of cancer awareness, he has been tirelessly crusading in the field of cancer prevention and he is an ethical health care practitioner who constantly upgrades his professional knowledge and skill
